Department of Architecture, Sathyabama University: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India; The department was started in 1993 offering the undergraduate programs and has been recognized nationally for its academic rigor in the last 16 years. The Post Graduate program in architecture with specialization in Building Science was introduced from the year 2006. Faculties specialized in diverse branches of architecture, town planning. Emphasis on documentation, case studies and contribution of leading practicing architects in the design studio have been the strengths of the department.
